Register your interest in AFANT’s Fisher Science Programs
For over 20 years AFANT has partnered with NT Fisheries to collect Barramundi tagging data that helps inform the management of this iconic fishery. We are looking for more passionate volunteers to participate in the program, and we are also planning to expand our fisher science programs to include Reef Monitoring Angler Diaries and Billfish monitoring.
Register your interest now and be an active part of a bright fishing future, and make sure your data can contribute to good fisheries management.
Once registered, the AFANT team will be in touch. Recruitment for the Barramundi Tagging Program is due to recommence in early June 2021.
More info regarding Angler Diaries and Bill Fish Monitoring, including program launch dates will be provided.
